My counselling sessions

“I’m so grateful for all of the support and guidance I’ve received from Victoria. I felt safe, heard and understood from our very first session. I can’t recommend Victoria enough”.

Counselling options

I counsel those age 16 and above in person in lovely premises in the centre of Doddington village.

Alternatively, I offer online counselling via Zoom or Teams, plus telephone counselling.

My therapeutic approach

My approach is all about you. A lot of our work together will focus on your values and what you hold dear; how you perceive your life and other people in it; how you have come to believe the things that you do; and how you interpret the words and actions of those around you, so we can find out what is undermining you presently. If you have a mental health issue, we will look at how it might have come about and how it is impacting on you, as well as how it can be dispelled. We will look at your future; what you think would be your ‘best life’; identify the things that are preventing it from being realised and establish the best way of overcoming them.

My therapeutic approach is integrative – I deploy the counselling styles that I consider most fruitful for each individual client, although I use the person-centred counselling model as the basis of that integration.

Bespoke counselling

I offer bespoke counselling services to those aged 16 and above. It might be necessary to see you frequently or, say, only once a month, dependent on your concerns and their impact on you. It might be necessary to see you more at the beginning than towards the end of therapy. I can accommodate any of these options, according to your own specific needs. We will work together, to understand what they are.

Session cost

Individual therapy: each counselling session is an hour long, whereas most counselling sessions last 50 minutes. The price per hour is £80.

Couples therapy: each counselling session is an hour and a quarter. The price per session is £95.

“Thanks to Victoria looking back if I had told myself at the beginning what I have now achieved, I wouldn’t have believed it”.
