Counselling and Psychotherapy
I offer counselling and psychotherapy for anyone over the age of 16.
My specialist areas are largely: anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship concerns, divorce, sexual difficulties, sexual dysfunction and issues around sexuality.
I work with everyone irrespective of sexuality, identity, gender and relationship choices, health conditions, or impairments.
Relationships Therapy
I have a Master’s Degree in Contemporary Psychosexual and Relationships Therapy.
Issues with which I can assist couples are: resolving communication issues and conflicts; rebuilding relationships after infidelity; dealing with anxiety, stress and depression in a relationship; handling neurodiversity in a relationship; managing parenting issues; finding a way through jealousy and anger; managing loss of attraction or libido and supporting people through separation and divorce to avoid costly and adversarial court processes.
I work with all relationships, not just heterosexual ones.
Psychosexual Therapy
I have a masters degree (Level 7) in Contemporary Psychosexual Therapy and Relationships. I am currently training for an advanced specialism in compulsive sexual relationships, sometimes termed sex or porn addiction.
I can assist clients (whether individuals, couples, or other relationship styles) with issues including: desire discrepancy, sexual communication difficulties, erectile dysfunction, premature and delayed ejaculation, performance anxiety, dyspareunia (difficult or painful sex), fertility issues, menopause, vaginismus, sexual orientation, gender questioning and sex or porn addiction.
Psychosexual therapy is a talking therapy designed to establish what the issues are, how they arose, what is maintaining them, how to remedy them and involving guided homework tasks designed to achieve just that. It is a means of improving intimacy, connection, confidence and communication (where necessary) as well as improving sexual interaction. Please note that the way to remedy psychosexual issues can be counter-intuitive. The remedies that individuals and couples instinctively attempt can make the issue worse, especially if anxiety is involved. In general, it’s wise to see a professional as soon as possible.
Psychosexual therapy is for anyone, regardless of age, sexual orientation, gender, relationship status, cultural or religious background.

“My journey was a long one and the continued support of Victoria helped to lift my depression by addressing the causes and working through them. This in turn lifted my feelings of overwhelm and I was able to use coping mechanisms to manage my mental health.”
